Welcome to the homepage of the Japanese International School in Vienna.

In our school we teach in accordance with the Japanese curriculum.

One way in which this manifests is our language of instruction, Japanese.

Living abroad provides valuable experiences for our students. At the same time, it is vital to nurture their understanding of Japanese culture and way of living. Therefore we use Japanese as the basis for learning and thinking in our school.

Owing to the specialized aspect of our school, we have few students.

Taking advantage of our small class sizes, our teachers are able to provide individualized attention to each student.

In addition to the school subjects that are part of the Japanese curriculum, we offer German lessons, specialized lessons for students to learn about Austria, as well as various exchange activities with other schools and experienced-based learning activities.
